Retrograde chess problems are chess problems where part of the solution comes
from reasoning about the past moves that have been played in the game. The
Retrograde Analysis Corner is a very extensive website with lots of
information on this kind of chess problems. (Many retrograde problems also
feature chess variant rules.)
Thanks to Joost de Heer for finding this site after we lost track of it.
In order to facilitate maintenance of links, separate
pages will be made for outgoing links with a small description. Thus, when
a link changes, I need to change only one link on one spot. Note that I
have no connection to the linked sites.
