Skilled Skiers

This is an army for Chess with Different Armies themed on a family of pieces called Ski Piece which is any line rider modified by omitting the first cell in its ride, i.e. it begins with a little ski-jump.

Setup

The pieces other than King & pawns are replaced with other pieces. In place of the Rooks there are 2 Drunken Ski Half Rooks. In place of the Knights, there are 2 Butterflies, in place of the Bishops are the Goosy Ski Half Bishops, & in place of the Queen is the Skirrel.

Pieces

Drunken Ski Half RookMakes a 2-0 leap, and may then continue its move by sliding up to 2 squares away from its starting square orthogonally, or steps one square orthogonally sideways (jW4sW)
ButterflyMoves up to twice as a Knight, but MUST leap over a piece each time. This piece can either be in an orthogonal or diagonal direction from the Butterfly (jNjajN)
Goosy Ski Half BishopMakes a 2-2 leap, and may then continue its move by stepping one square away from its starting square diagonally, or steps one square diagonally forward (jF3fF)
SkirrelMakes a 2-0 leap, and may then continue its move by stepping one square away from its starting square orthogonally, or makes a 2-2 leap, and may then continue its move by stepping one square away from its starting square diagonally, or makes a Knight's jump (jK3N)
